Roti

Roti is a staple accompaniment to other foods, cooked on a flat or slightly concave iron griddle called a tawa. Dhallpuri and Buss-up are most popular in the Caribbean.

    Paratha “Buss-up-Shot”

    The correct name is paratha, a soft layered roti, the dough is prepared and wrapped in layers, cooked over the tawa and beaten to loosen the layers, and coined the term ‘Buss-up-shot’ it can only be eaten by breaking it apart and dipping it sauce and protein.

    Dhalpuri Roti Order

    Dhalpuri is a roti created in Trinidad and is growing in popularity worldwide. Made from chick peas seasoned with masala and fresh herbs, filled in a dough and rolled out, cooked over a tawa. This roti is preferred as a wrap with your favorite protein or veggie.

    Taro leaves are completely clean and cooked at a slow temperature, coconut milk, pumkin, provision, okras. This dish contains butter, milk, and other root provision.
